Privacy Policy
Who we are
Frequency Club (frequencyclub.org) is a curated EDM, House and Techno blog and mix platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Data we collect
We only collect data you provide directly to us:
- Newsletter subscription — your email address, optional first name, the date and time of consent, and your IP address at the time of subscription.
- Contact form — your name, email, optional phone number and message content.
We do not collect any data through third-party advertising networks or sell your data to anyone.
Newsletter — legal basis & how we use your data
Our newsletter is based on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). By ticking the consent checkbox at sign-up, you agree to receive our newsletter by email.
We use your email address solely to send you the Frequency Club newsletter. We record the date, time and IP address of your consent as required by GDPR.
Each newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by contacting us. After unsubscription your email is marked as unsubscribed and will never be contacted again; it is not deleted immediately so we can prove consent history if required.
Email open tracking
Our newsletters include a small invisible image (a "tracking pixel") that lets us know when an email has been opened. This helps us measure engagement and improve our content. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can disable remote image loading in your email client.
Data retention
- Active subscribers — data is kept as long as you remain subscribed.
- Unsubscribed contacts — email and consent record are kept for up to 3 years to demonstrate compliance, then permanently deleted.
- Contact messages — kept for up to 12 months then deleted.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal)
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the form below.
Cookies
We use only functional session cookies (required for form security). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
